Mr. Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs of India, Government of India, led the Indian delegation to the 6th Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction at Bangkok (22-26 June, 2014). Gen Tanasak Patimaprakorn of the National Council for Peace and Order of Thailand opened the conference on 29 June, 2014. Smt. Sneh Lata Kumar, Secretary (Border Management), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and Ambassador Harsh Vardhan Shringla were also part of the Indian delegation to the AMCDRR. (H.E.
