The exhibitions on Mahatma Gandhi and His Majesty the King of Thailand at the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall in Bangkok had attracted more than 14000 visitors during the month it was on display. Encouraged by the response, the Exhibitions have now been shifted to the Sirindhorn Environment Park In Hua Hin for display for a month. On 31st January 2015, the exhibitions were inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Mr.Monthian Thongnit,Governor of Phetchburi Province , H.E. Mr. Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Ambassador of India to the Royal Kingdom of Thailand and H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Director-General of Information Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Other dignitaries present during the inauguration were Sheriff of Cha-am District , Deputy Governor of Phetchburi Province, Deputy Governor of Prajuabkirikan Province , Madam Ganjana – Goonchorn , Mr. Krit Garnjana - Goonchorn, Principal Private Secretary, OHM , Mr. Chittrapat Krairiksh, Deputy Principal Private Secretary, OHM , Madam Krairiksh , Dr. Priyanut Dhamapriya . Dr. Sonjai Havanond, Sirindhorn International Environmental Park, Mrs. Hemal Shringla, spouse of Ambassador Shringla. During the inaugurations there were two cultural performances, one by a Manipuri troupe from India and the other by Dance of benediction and the Sukhothai dance performed by Phetchaburi Rajabhat University,Thailand.
