Bharatanatyam dance recital by Dr. Padmaja Suresh, at Indian Cultural Centre on 26th June,2015.

 

Experienced and noted artiste of Bharatanatyam, teacher, researcher, social worker and choreographer, Dr.Padmaja trained by prominent Gurus, Kalaimamani Guru K. Kalyanasundaram of Sri. Rajarajeswari Kalamandir, Mumbai in dance and music performed at ICC, Bangkok.

 

Dr. Padmaja has won many Awards- Karamveer Chakra, Rex Global Fellow, Bharatakala Sreshtha, Nartana Nipuna, Singara Mani, Kiran Achiever for National Women’s Excellence, Inspired Indian and Extraordinary Citizen of the city.

 

She has performed at major dance festivals throughout the country and has given performances at major temple festivals widely in India. She writes regularly in journals and leading newspapers. Deeply spiritual and intellectual, her book Tantra the Science and Natya the Art has been well appreciated for its esoteric study of dance.
