9 April 2021- Celebrations of ICCR Foundation Day.

71st ICCR Foundation Day was celebrated at Embassy of India, Bangkok on 9 April, 2021

The video message of President of ICCR Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe was shared on the occasion and the message of DG ICCR Mr. Dinesh K. Patnaik regarding the Sanskrit Gaming App “Little Guru” was also streamed.

Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Suchitra Durai and Dr. Chirapat Prapandvidya launched the Sanskrit Gaming App “Little Guru”.

Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Suchitra Durai shared her message on ICCR Foundation Day and on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Dr. Chirapat Prapandvidya spoke on the importance of Sanskrit.

Dr. Kowit Pimpuang an ICCR scholar and Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University spoke on Buddhist linkages between India and Thailand and on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, whose Birth anniversary we are celebrating on 14th April.

Two other ICCR scholars, Ms. Vishakha Singh and Ms. Ingkarat Sivamatheewit also shared their impression about India and their experiences there.

Ms. Ingkarat Sivamatheewit ICCR scholar, performed a Kathak Dance recital “Durga Parant and Namami”.

The Maharashtra Mandal Bangkok performed Maharashtra Lokdhara (Folk Dances) to ring in the festivities for Songkran/ Gudi/ Padva/Ugadi/ Tamil New year / Bihu/Vaisaki etc.
