Attestation of Document

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

All certificates submitted to the Embassy of India, Bangkok for attestation should be got first attested in India as explained below:

School Certificates

Concerned State Board of Secondary Education.

Diploma/Vocational Training Certificates/Marriage Certificate, Birth or Death Certificates etc.

Authorised Officer of the Department of Home Affairs of the State where the institutions, which issued the Certificate, is situated.

Degree/PG Certifcate

1. Authorised Officer of the Departemnt of Secondary Education and Higher Education, Scholarship Division, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Governemnt of India, (Address: A-I/W-3, Curzon Road Barracks, Kasturba Gnahdi Marg, New Delhi-110001, Tel: 0091-11-33845001). 2. Consular Section, (CPV Division), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, (Address: Ground Floor, Patiala House, Tilak Marg, New Delhi.

The Certificates for attestation should be submitted to the Embassy with:

  • Original Document with two photocopies.
  • Original passport with photocopy (all pages of personal particulars and current visa page).
  • Original work permit/Tangdao (Alien Certificate)/Residence permit with photocopy.
  • In case the document originated from any Thai Institution, prior attestation from Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required.All Thai documents are required to be translated in to English and then certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Authority letter, if applicant cannot come personally.

PROCESSING TIME

  • Three Working Days

FEE

  • Baht 450 + Baht 60 for each additional page.
  • Service charge Baht 70 per document.
