Indian Council for Cultural Relations has instituted an ‘Award for Promotion of Buddhist Studies’ to recognize the contribution of foreign scholars/individuals/organizations to the promotion of Buddhist studies globally. The first such Award will be given during the International Buddhist Conference to be held in November 2021in India.

2. Nominations are now being invited for the Award for Promotion of Buddhist Studies -2021. The nominees should have made outstanding contribution to promotion of Buddhist studies internationally. 

3. Code of Procedure/nomination form of the award in this regard may be seen below. 

4. Foreign scholars/individuals/organizations who have made outstanding contribution in promotion of Buddhist studies internationally under their jurisdiction may send detailed bio-data/ CV to the Embassy of India, Bangkok latest by 23 September 2021."
