Last date extended for conversion of PIO cards to OCI cards

The last date for submission of application for conversion of PIO cards into OCI cards has further been extended to December 31, 2016 from June 30, 2016. All applications for conversion of PIO into OCI filed from now up till December 31, 2016 will be processed free of charge as per the announcement of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
