The Embassy of India, Bangkok, intends to PRE QUALIFY AGENCIES TO ASSIST ITS CONSULAR WING IN PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS FROM THAI NATIONALS AND NATIONALS OF OTHER COUNTRIES RESIDENT IN THAILAND FOR ISSUE OF VISAS & RE-ENTRY PERMITS, AS ALSO FROM INDIAN NATIONALS FOR INDIAN PASSPORT AND RELATED SERVICES. The agency so identified would have, on behalf of the Embassy of India, responsibility for following broad activities.

• Collection and scrutiny of applications as prescribed, along with all supporting documents and fees from the applicants.

• Depositing the scrutinized applications, passports in original, as well as in electronic format, at Consular wing of the Embassy by quickest and safest means; and fees at bank designated by Embassy.
• Collection of passport from Consular wing after services has been rendered.
• Dispatching/handing over document(s) to applicants by secure and fast means.
• Maintaining an information desk to answer enquiries over telephone and information service to handle queries by email/post/fax.
• Scheduling of personal interviews of applicants at Consular wing if deemed necessary.
• Maintaining a website and accepting online applications as required by Embassy.

To carry out these activities on behalf of Embassy, the agency would be expected to establish a service centre in Sukhumvit area.  The number of centres in Bangkok may be required to be increased, if deemed necessary by Embassy.  The agency would be expected to provide courteous and efficient service at all times. The Embassy would reserve the right to monitor the quality of service being provided.
