70th Independence Day celebrations in Bangkok

70th Independence Day of India was celebrated on 15August 2016 in Bangkok with great enthusiasm. H. E. Mr. Bhagwant Singh Bishnoi, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Thailand, unfurled the national tricolour at the Embassy premises. Students from schools and membersfrom Indian associations sung the national anthem and patriotic songs. The Ambassador read out the President’s Address to the nation. Around 500 people, including members of the Indian community and the Embassy of India, together with their families and friends of India among Thai nationals, attended the event.
