68th Republic Day 2017 celebrations in Bangkok

Republic Day of India was celebrated on 26 January 2017 in Bangkok with enthusiasm. H. E. Shri Bhagwant Singh Bishnoi unfurled the national tricolour at the Embassy premises. Students from schools and other enthusiasts sung national anthem and patriotic songs. The Ambassador read out the President's Address to the Nation. Various Indian associations collaborated to put a cultural performance on the occasion. Around 500 people, including members of the Indian community and the Embassy of India, together with their families and friends of India among Thai nationals, attended the event.
