70th Anniversary of Independence Day of India celebrations in Bangkok

70th anniversary of Independence Day of India was celebrated by the Embassy on 15 August 2017 in Bangkok with great enthusiasm. H. E. Mr. Bhagwant Singh Bishnoi, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Thailand, unfurled the national tricolour at the premises of India Thai Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok.  Students from schools and members from Indian associations sung the national anthem and patriotic songs. The Ambassador read out the President’s Address to the nation.  Around 500 people, including members of the Indian community and the Embassy of India, together with their families and friends of India among Thai nationals, attended the event.
