Embassy of India, proposes to conduct a market study in following two sectors in Thailand.

  1. Supply chain management and logistics in processed food and agro products Industry
  2. Wines and alcoholics beverages in Thailand 

The objectives and scope of the proposed Market study shall be as under.

 Objectives of the Survey

  1. Supply chain management and logistics in processed food and agro products Industry:
  2. To provide a better understanding of the Supply chain management and logistics of the processed food and agro products industry of Thailand
  3. Analyse and evaluate the role of supply chain management (SCM) and logistics in Thailand
  4. Main activities and decisions involved under the SCM and logistics in the processed food and agro products industry of Thailand
  5. Impact of SCM on the Companies, HR policies and on the value addition in Thailand
  6. Issues relating to inventory cost trade-off in SCM and Logistics
  7. Challenges faced by the companies while adopting SCM and logistics in Thailand. i.e. technology, legal, environment, culture etc. 
  8. New ways evolved in SCM and logistics as compared to the traditional ones
  9. How the Thai Model of SCM and logistics can be fruitful for Indian companies.
  10. Thai model of SCM in imported processed food and agro products
  11. Wines and alcoholics beverages in Thailand 
  12. To estimate the size of Thai market in the sector.
  13. To determine target customers and to know their wants and needs.
  14. To identify specific products where India has a definite advantage.
  15. To find out particular markets for the products.
  16. To report on the sale trends and sales potential.
  17. To study market demand of the products.
  18. To examine brand awareness/ brand image and consumer perception of Indian products from the sector.
