CONFERMENT OF PADMA SHRI AWARD TO THE SUPREME PATRIARCH OF THAILAND  BY INDIAN GOVERNMENT

The Government of India has announced conferment of ‘Padma Shri’ Award,  India’s fourth highest Civilian Awards, to His Holiness SomdetPhraAriyaWongsaKhottayan, the Supreme Patriarch of the Kingdom of Thailand on the occasion of the 69th Republic Day of India on 26 January 2018.  His Holiness is the first personality of the Kingdom of Thailand to get this award.  The Investiture Ceremony will be held soon in New Delhi for the conferment of award. 

This has further affirmed the ever-growing relations between India and Thailand.
