69th Republic Day of India was celebrated on 26 January 2018 in Bangkok with great enthusiasm today. More than 500 people, including members of the Indian community, friends of India and from the Embassy, along with their families, turned up to salute the National Flag, at India-Thai Chamber of Commerce premises. Shri Abbagani Ramu, Charge d’Affaires unfurled the tricolour. Students from schools and other enthusiasts sung national anthem and patriotic songs. Charge d’Affaires read out the President's Address to the Nation. Various Indian associations collaborated to put a cultural performance on the occasion.
