Embassy celebrates 71st anniversary of India's Independence
The 71st anniversary of India's Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August 2018 at the Embassy of India, Bangkok with great enthusiasm. Ambassador Mr. Bhagwant Singh Bishnoi unfurled the national tricolour at the newly renovated Embassy premises. Students from schools and members from Indian associations sung the national anthem and patriotic songs. The Ambassador read out the President’s Address to the Nation. Around 500 people, including members of the Indian community and the Embassy of India, together with their families and friends of India among Thai nationals, attended the event.
