Thailand conveys condolences for recent floods in India

          Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul called Ambassador Anil Wadhwa on 27 June, 2013 to the Thai Foreign Office to express sympathy and condolences on behalf of Thai Government and people for loss of lives, property and devastation caused by the recent floods in North India.  He also handed over a condolence message addressed to External Affairs Minister and made a symbolic presentation of financial assistance of US $ 100,000 towards flood relief and rehabilitation.  Ambassador Anil Wadhwa conveyed to him Government of India’s appreciation for this thoughtful gesture.
